About
Linda Mann’s still life paintings are perfect little worlds, carefully constructed in oil paint. She begins by arranging objects with intention, considering their shapes, colors, and the spaces between them until the composition becomes a place she longs to inhabit. Working exclusively from life, she captures the interplay of natural and artificial light, layering paint and glazes over many months to create depth and luminosity. Through this meticulous process, familiar objects are transformed into luminous realities—each painting a meditation on harmony, order, and beauty in an ever-changing world.
Linda Mann lives and works in Bellevue, WA. Mann studied at the Gage Academy of Art (Seattle, WA) and The Academy of Art College (San Francisco, CA). She has been painting for more than three decades and has had solo exhibitions at the Hyatt Regency (Bellevue, WA) and Quent Cordair Fine Art (Burlingame, CA). Mann is represented by Studio Shop Gallery and Quent Cordair Fine Art. Her oil paintings have been featured in Create! Magazine and Arts to Hearts Magazine. She has been selected Associate Living Master by the Artist Renewal Center and a Finalist in their International Salon for five consecutive years. She also shares her process with a wide audience on Instagram, where more than 178,000 people follow her work.
